This waterfront project puts steel fenestration to work on every opening facing the water. The elevation features our STL W75 casement profile throughout. Twin outswing casements pair with twin inswing doors, and together they open the full wall toward the water when the weather allows it.

Flat T muntins carry the divided lite pattern across the glass without cutting into the sightlines. The steel is finished in RAL 8019, a gray brown that shifts toward cocoa once direct light hits it. Brass hardware and an antique brass cremone bar add warmth against the steel and echo the wood tones used inside the house.

The hardware finish plays off the steel the same way the muntin profile plays off the glass. Brass warms up a cool gray frame instead of fighting it, and the cremone bar picks up that same warmth against the dark steel, echoing the wood tones inside. Each choice makes the next one read better. That is the kind of layering that separates a standard steel install from one built for a client who notices everything.
